Member of TUI’s Executive Committee David Burling met over 170 hotel partners in Athens to discuss its plans for Greece and Cyprus for Summer 2023.

The event was held at the Cape Sounio, Grecotel Boutique Resort and TUI used the opportunity to personally present the winners of the TUI Global Hotel Awards with their trophies. The awards recognise hotels that have received outstandingly high satisfaction scores from its customers and have demonstrated their commitment to sustainability. Hotels across Greece picked up six awards and there was also a special commendation for sustainability presented.

The overall winner for Best Hotel Globally went to Lindos Blu Luxury Hotel & Suites in Rhodes. Other winners included:

• Best Hotel TUI Netherlands – TIME TO SMILE MERAKI in Lesbos
• Best Club TUI France – Marmara Zorbas Beach in Kos
• Best Hotel TUI UK&I – Casa Blu in Crete
• Special Commendation – Creta Maris Beach Resort – for its sustainable food practices.
