When the decision is made to re-open, you need to be in a position where your staff have received information and training about Covid-19 and your enhanced procedures; that you have effective infection prevention measures in place and that you know what information you are going to provide to our mutual customers.
It is key, that your team for managing the risks associated with Covid-19 is in place. The enhanced procedures you have implemented should be monitored to ensure they are working effectively. If there is a need to change a procedure, the revised procedure should be put in place immediately. All your staff need to understand their role, regardless of which department they work in.
PLEASE NOTE: As part of the Re-Opening process you will receive an email from Cristal, containing a link to an online version of the Pre-Opening Checklist, which we ask you to complete immediately.

– The subject line will be: TUI Group COVID-19 Re-opening Checklist URGENT ACTION – (Name of Hotel).
By completing the checklist as soon as you receive it, we will know you are ready to re-open and welcome TUI guests.

- There is now a selection of POSI Guidance documents providing advice on things like Social Distancing, Hand Hygiene, Children’s Clubs, Swimming Pools and undertaking Risk Assessments.

Optional Resources:
The following optional resources are available for a fee payable directly to Cristal.
- Cristal have developed a certification scheme known as POSI-Check to recognize and certify hotels who have implemented a coordinated POSI program. The goal of POSI-Check is to demonstrate to guests, authorities, and other stakeholders that measures to prevent the spread of infection are in place and being actively used. Certification includes the Cristal Quality mark, room door hangers and stickers as well as resources to display on social media, your website, etc. POSI-Check is mandatory for TUI owned, managed and branded hotels, and is an optional resource for all other hotel partners.
