The TUI Care Foundation’s Tourism Recovery Programme supported 415 travel and tourism businesses across the world through the Covid-19 pandemic. Implemented by the TUI Care Foundation and enpact, it offered training, mentoring and financial support to innovative tourism businesses in Egypt, Mexico, South Africa, Kenya and Tunisia.
The programme helped businesses build resilience and recover from the challenges of the pandemic. Its mix of training, mentoring and financial support was invaluable to travel and tourism entrepreneurs around the world working to innovate, maintain jobs and strengthen their international network.
Over 100 TUI colleagues also made a contribution to the programme by mentoring the businesses or providing expert workshops.
